The Democratic Party may have just received their worst news since they realized that Hillary wasn't going to win the election. According to one of the very top Dem pollsters, there is a fear that the one group Democrats rely on more than any other may not turn out to vote for them in the crucial midterm elections this November.
Stanley Greenberg said that although many of Trump's key platforms face opposition from the younger voter, there is a “very real risk” that millennials just won't turn out to vote when it counts most.
There is the adage saying that “if you are not socialist when you are young, you have no heart. And if you're not conservative when you are older, you have no brain.” Perhaps the youth of yesterday are starting to grow up and get smarter?
While the majority of youngsters aren't onboard with Donald Trump right now, neither are they supportive of the Democrats who seem to ignore them in favor of just about every other group or cause. They must surely be looking on and asking “What are you going to do for me or my future?”
And the reality is that younger voters are starting to see something good coming from the Republicans. Those who have started work (even in a part-time capacity) are beginning to notice that there is a little more money left in their paycheck… and this helps a lot!
Perhaps there will be a Wave coming this November. But it looks like the predicted color might be wrong.
