President Donald Trump has dissolved the voter fraud commission that he set up to look for fraud in the 2016 election. When he claimed that there were a couple of million votes cast that were likely illegal voted, he captured the public imagination. But now he has dissolved it. The question is twofold. Part one is why did he do it? And the second is why did those on the political left be so against it?
News has it that the president feels that the commission is so inundated with lawsuits against it and that states are refusing to cooperate in any way, that it appears nothing can actually be achieved. And this brings us to the second point.
Isn't it in everyone's interests that we get to the bottom of electoral fraud? Why has the left launched so many frivolous lawsuits against the commission? And why are states refusing to cooperate with an investigation that could make our electoral system better and fairer for all?
Is it possible that the left don't want electoral fraud to be investigated because they are the ones who benefit from it?
Chuck Schumer called it a “front to suppress the vote, perpetrate dangerous and baseless claims.” This is the mindset that has destroyed the real left of America. They want the fraud, they want the votes.
