TRey “The Hammer” Gowdy has taken the Democrats to task for being uncooperative in the later stages of the Russian collusion investigation. Is this a suggestion that now we have ties with the Dems and the Russians that they are pedaling back from the whole thing? Or is it that they are trying to sway the investigation away from themselves?
“They tried to attack the fundamentals of our democracy and that's what I've spent 2017 focusing on,” he said. “That to me is an American issue. I wish the Democrats a little bit more instead of reading the Moscow phonebook during the witnesses interviews trying to see if Jared Kushner knows a guy named Igor. I wish they'd help.”
“That's been my focus in 2017 is understanding that Russia tried to subvert our democracy, and it'd be great if my Democratic friends helped a little bit.”
And this is the root of the issue. Are the Democrats more concerned with any single connection between a Russian person and someone in the Trump campaign, or are they concerned with what “they claimed” was the Russians trying to interfere with the 2016 American election?
It's clear which one is far more important. So why are the Dems shying away from it? Could it be because they know that Russian interference has been taking place, but until now it benefited them? Or is it something else?
It's time to get some of these Democrats on the stand and tire this whole thing together. We know about Uranium one, we know about the emails, we know that the DNC and the Clinton campaign paid for the Russian Trump Dossier, and we know that they DID NOT declare this as opposition research as they are legally obliged to do.
