Howard Rubin, the famous investment manager who has worked with billionaire financier George Soros, hand in hand, for many years, has been accused of sexual assault, rape, sexual violence, and even slave trafficking. Rubin worked for Soros from 2008 to 2015, and stopped just before his first accuser came forward saying that he had held her prisoner in his Manhattan “dungeon” and raped her.
Since the initial accusations, more women have come forward to list a series of sick acts that included sexual violence to the extent that some needed to see cosmetic surgeons afterward.
The lawyer representing the women, Jeremy Saland said:
‘While arrogance and self-import may convince certain men otherwise, neither money nor power gives any person the right to victimize a woman.
‘It is our collective responsibility to ensure that victims’ voices are heard, and that abusers’ positions of privilege do not exempt them from the grasp of justice.'
To be very clear, Rubin has not been found guilty, nor has he admitted guilt, and the case is still underway. But the fact that a $27 million lawsuit has been launched against someone who basically heralded in the financial crisis during his time at Merril-Lynch, and was rewarded with a top job by George Soros, and it IS NOT being covered by the regular media is newsworthy in itself.
It shows that if you have money and connections, you will be protected from the press.
