It looks like the DOJ has finally agreed to allow key members of the Senate Intel Committees to take a look not only at the FISA documents related to Carter Page but also at the Electronic Communication (EC) document that would have been a precursor to the warrants.
This began back in August when Devin Nunes demanded that these documents be made available to a wider audience in the belief that the whole Russian Investigation is based on nothing more than the salacious and highly questionable Trump dossier.
If it turns out to be based on one source of material (which the FBI knew was a discredited source) then it shows conclusively that this Russian Collusion narrative was orchestrated out of thin air in an attempt to derail President Trump… Heads will roll.
Initially, it appeared that Nunes would never get access, but when he threatened to sue the DOJ, they finally jumped and agreed to allow members to examine them.
This will not, unfortunately, be a bombshell revelation. The powers inside the DOJ and FBI know well enough how to cover heir tracks… It will provide fuel to the fire for those that believe the president is being set up, but it will have an element of doubt that will allow the radical left to keep trying to push their own narrative.
It is sad that it is the American people who are stuck in the middle of this.
