Bryton Mellott has again burnt an American Flag and posted it on Facebook. This is the same man who was arrested for burning a flag previously and then sued the police department. He won his case and was awarded $15,000 for wrongful arrest.
Why is it that people who are living in a society that allows them the right to burn their flag, hate the nation so much. The act of burning a flag and posting it online is a freedom that most countries do not allow for. Is this guy such an idiot that he can't see how the thing he is protesting is actually the thing that allows him to do what he wants and be who he wants to be?
Let's try and ask a few questions here: What is it about America that you hate so much? Is it that it allows you to say and do whatever you see fit? Is it that the government awards you actual money when they do something that is wrong? What is it that you hate?
Do you hate the people? Do you hate the institutions? Make yourself clear!
Statements concerning how racist America is do not answer the questions. Black folk are Americans too. This is also their flag. There are black people in all the institutions of state (and if you remember, even in the highest office)…This is a country for all people. So please, stop being an idiot and learn to think about what you are protesting.
